First class food

The meals at Higher Beneknowle are a special feature of your stay. Using locally grown organic produce, supplemented with fresh fruit and veggies from our own organic kitchen garden. At breakfast there are eggs from the farm just next door, homemade breads and preserves, muffins and pastries, fresh fruit and juices, organic yoghurts and homemade granola, as well an extensive choice of freshly prepared and cooked specials; from Eggs Benedict to a full Devon Country Breakfast. A Gourmet candlelit dinner or a Simple Supper - the choice is yours. Seasonal local organic produce, always freshly prepared and cooked. Special diets are catered for, as are special events.

We are not licensed, so BYO. We will happily chill or ‘chambrer’ and serve your own wines and drinks. We also have a list of recommended country pubs and restaurants and are happy to makes reservations on your behalf.
